Areas of focus
I use the Gestalt modality with process-oriented techniques
Gestalt therapy is a holistic, experiential approach that helps individuals become more present and self-aware by integrating mind, body, and emotions. This modality helps people resolve internal conflicts, take responsibility for their choices, and grow into a more authentic, fulfilled version of themselves.
I utilize experiential, experimental, and existential practices including:
- Art or artistic expression
- Somatic inquiries and embodied movement
- Dream work
- Two-chair work
- Parts work
- Mindfulness practices
- Culturally sensitive and trauma informed practice
My practice welcomes a wide range of clients including:
- People who have experienced anxiety and/or depression
- People who are first- or second-generation immigrants
- People navigating family conflict or estrangement
- LGBTQ+ individuals and couples
- People healing from religious trauma
- People in high-pressure careers
- People who are racialized and/or in an interracial relationship
My practice is open to anyone seeking growth and healing, regardless of whether their experiences are listed here.
